tina witherspoon has been designing and sewing women's clothing and accessories under the glamspoon name since 2005.  with a background in theater, music and american craft, her aesthetic was born from the practicality of refashioning existing garments for new purpose.  Using recycled fabrics and trims, each design is informed by the materials available, creating a one of a kind piece that embodies sustainable practices and challenges mass-production.

most recently she was part of the design team of GGLO entering the first Seattle Product Runway event sponsored by IDCW.  GGLO's Team Steam crafted an outfit from Atlas Carpet and much to their delight, took home first place.  You can see photos of all the entries here: http://productrunway.smugmug.com
